You may need Bluestreak if...

With all respects to Jeff Foxworthy’s comedy bit, here is a short list of reasons why your company should take a look at Bluestreak or Bright-AM MES/QMS as a replacement to existing, outdated software systems for managing quality and tracking what happens on the shop floor.

1. You may need Bluestreak if your current software was purchased when a “Bush” was the US president.

2. You may need Bluestreak if your COBOL programmer is on life support.

3. You may need Bluestreak if you need Windows 98 to run your software.

4. You may need Bluestreak if Microsoft Access is anywhere in the conversation.

5. You may need Bluestreak if you know that DOS is an Operating System that you use daily and not the number 2.

6. You may need Bluestreak if Excel spreadsheets and Word documents are the “latest technology” your company uses.

7. You may need Bluestreak if you use a photocopier for “taking pictures” of your customer’s parts.

8. You may need Bluestreak if you always need to spend 30 minutes hunting down the “blue folder” that has all the critical part information before you can send the job to the floor.

9. You may need Bluestreak if shop floor people routinely “lose” or destroy critical paperwork, like “blue folders”.
