About Us
Throughput Consulting Inc. (TCI), located in Delafield, WI, is an innovated software development company that was founded in 2005 to address specific requirements in various service-based manufacturing verticals. A few examples are Heat Treating, Powder Coating, Liquid and other Coatings, Plating, Forging, Surface Finishing, etc.

Then, in 2016, TCI began developing the Bright AM™ solution for MES I QMS in Additive Manufacturing production facilities.

Throughput Consulting Inc. is the developer of the award winning Bluestreak I MES I QMS™ platform as well as Bright AM™ for Additive Manufacturing production control, work order management and quality/specification adherence. The company also provides custom software development, interfaces to most other software systems, and specialized training services, both onsite and online.
​Bluestreak™ is flexible enough to handle virtually any service-based, process oriented manufacturing production environment. We even use Bluestreak™ everyday ourselves to manage multiple projects, development queues, business activities, and communications with customers and AM service providers. We too provide a service – valuable information management in an easy-to-use dynamic software system.

Working from the company’s Wisconsin location, Mike serves as TCI’s Director of Development for both the Bluestreak™ and Bright AM™ software solutions and their individual integrated modules. Mike is an Electrical Engineering graduate from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and is a continuous learning advocate. Prior to joining TCI, Mike worked as an Engineer for the U.S. Department of the Navy for 10 years in California before returning to his home in Wisconsin.
Switching from electronic design, Mike found his passion in software development. For him, it's all about problem solving. With his penchant for perfection, Mike uses the right amount of complexity while creating optimal simplicity. Mike is also responsible for implementing the many user interface (UI) designs incorporated within the Bright AM™ and Bluestreak™ MES/QMS solutions. In mid-2018, Mike celebrated his 13th year with Throughput Consulting Inc.
Based out of the company’s Tampa, FL location, Gary serves as TCI’s Director of Customer Success for all Bright AM™ and Bluestreak™ customers around the world. Gary joined Throughput | Bluestreak™ in late 2010 after 30 years of progressive leadership, management, and executive experience. Gary has previously held positions as an IT/Business Consultant in Wadsworth Ohio, Business Manager & Officer of the Board for a non-profit organization in Akron Ohio, Executive Sales Engineer for a Fortune 500 company living and working in various states over the years, including; OH, NY, IN, WA and WI.
Since coming to Throughput | Bluestreak™ Gary has worn multiple ‘hats’ while serving and supporting various departments within the company, while being a proponent of the 6 P’s management style – Proper Prior Planning Precludes Poor Performance. Gary is a graduate of Bethel College, graduating with honors holding a BS degree in Organizational Management. He also was the Fiscal Officer for the Village of Hartville, located not too far from the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
Ryan Wenzel
Database Analyst
Working from TCI’s Northeast Ohio location, Ryan serves as a Database Analyst and performs other duties as a key member of the Tech Support Group. Ryan has assisted Throughput | Bluestreak™ on multiple special projects over the years before joining the company full time in June of 2018 with professional experience in software management and customer support. He has also been involved with the ‘branding’ of Throughput | Bluestreak™ since 2012, and now with Bright AM™ by creating, producing and editing media content. Working directly with many Bright AM™ and Bluestreak™ customers across the globe, Ryan also supports individual (and customized) ‘branding’ initiatives within the applicable software modules as is required for all new customers.
For the past 16 years, Ryan has worked within media production and marketing for his local church and other organizations. He is currently studying Information Technology at Herzing University and lives in Akron, OH with his wife and two beautiful dogs.
Ms. Oeltjen is a highly effective software trainer with previous experience in project management, public speaking and most recently, as Lead Trainer for a technology firm in Ohio. Not only will she be responsible for scheduling, coordinating both onsite/online training classes, Marisa will also expand Bright AM’s™ overall training curriculum and resource tools to better serve our customers.
Marisa's accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with a Minor in Business Administration from Ohio University, Athens, OH and a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Akron, Akron, OH.
Todd has architected and built custom enterprise software solutions since the mid 1980’s and has been heavily involved in the design and development of manufacturing execution control systems (MES) since 1990. In the early 2000’s he began developing quality management integration control (QMS) components to complement the MES functional requirements of multiple industry verticals. Since 2016, Todd has been actively involved in the design and development of the Bright AM™ solution for Additive Manufacturing production facilities. He is a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering and is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer.

From its inception in 2004, Todd has served as President of Throughput Consulting, Inc. (TCI), an enterprise software company headquartered in Wisconsin, that designed, developed and supports the Bluestreak™ and Bright AM™ MES/QMS solutions. TCI’s flagship software product, Bluestreak™, is the culmination of Mr. Wenzel’s 25+ years of partnering with service-based manufacturing company leaders to provide software solutions that tackle the industry’s most pressing business challenges within their production facilities. Todd is also an accomplished speaker and presenter on multiple IT-related topics.

Since joining the company in early 2015, Ron serves as TCI’s Director of Strategic Accounts for the Bright AM™ MES/QMS software suite. He assists in marketing strategy, while managing the sales and business development activities from the company's Tampa, FL location. Ron is a graduate of Ohio’s Control Data Institute of Technology, the Dale Carnegie Management Training Series and received additional training from Hewlett Packard and Digital Equipment Corp.
Previously, Ron has functioned as CIO for a steel company in Canton, OH in the 1980’s, then with a multinational consulting firm for 22 years, he served as Site Coordinator, Technical Director, Senior Relationship Executive, VP and Engagement Manager/Director over Teams in the U.S., Canada, India, and a nearshore solution center located in Montreal. Living in OH, NC, SC, GA and FL, Ron has assisted many organizations with requirements definition and packaging turnkey solutions which achieves the business/operational goals set forth. Ron has also served on several Boards, spoke at various User Groups, technical schools, class graduations, and was a previous elected official. He and his wife Renee (of 36 years) have two sons and one daughter.
